Our annual Juried Student Show showcases the creativity of our students here at Hope College. There are 33 artworks on display in the gallery, selected from over 150 submissions by more than 60 students across Hope’s campus. Each year, an esteemed artist or curator is invited to choose the artwork for the show from that pool of entries. Our guest juror this year is Jennifer Wcisel, the curator of collections and exhibitions at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

The artwork in this exhibition encompasses many mediums, including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics and installation. We are proud to present the Juried Student Show each year to celebrate the incredible talent of our students here at Hope. The juror also selected first, second, and third place winners: Carlee Schafer, To Reflect—Of Distortion; Alexus Ortiz, Rooted in Motion; and Nico Kazlauskas, Confessional.
