FRACTURED FAIRY TALES | GRADES K–2 & 3–5

A Rapunzel with a punk-pixie cut? Cool! Prince & The Pauper in outer space? Sounds awesome! This dreamy class is for aspiring playwrights, actors, directors and theatre makers! Participants are given a theme at the top of the week and the opportunity to re-tell, create and perform their own take on a treasured tale!

Daily activities include creative drama games, storytelling, arts and crafts, and ensemble work.

GRADES K–2 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 9 a.m.–NOON

The final performance will be at 11:30 a.m. on the last day of camp, open to family and friends.

GRADES 3–5 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 1 p.m.–4:30 p.m.

The final performance will be at 3:30 p.m. for family and friends on the last day of camp.

INTRO TO THE WORLD OF THEATRE CAMP | GRADES 3–5

Unlock your love of theatre with Intro to the World of Theatre Camp. Young performers will explore the many aspects of the theatre world through acting games, crafts and more! This camp provides a fun and supportive environment that helps foster performance and design skills such as creativity and confidence. 

Daily activities include physical and vocal warm-ups, acting and improvisation games, crafts, and ensemble work.

GRADES 3–5 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 9 a.m.–NOON

The final performance of short skits will be at 11:30 a.m. on the last day of camp for family and friends.

IMPROV CAMP | GRADES 6–8

Unlock your comedic potential with Improv Camp. Performers will learn the art of quick thinking and adaptability through a variety of fun and interactive improvisation exercises and games. This camp is perfect for aspiring actors and comedians or anyone looking to boost their creativity and confidence.

Daily activities include physical and vocal warm-ups, ensemble work and improvisation games.

GRADES 6–8 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 1–4:30 p.m.

The final performance will be at 3:30 p.m.  for family and friends on the last day of camp.

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP | GRADES 3–5

Get ready to sing, dance and have a blast while learning theatre fundamentals. Campers will experience the excitement of singing, dancing and acting with other young creatives as they work together in an ensemble to create a final performance for friends and family.

GRADES 3–5 | MONDAY–FRIDAY |  9 a.m.–NOON

Daily activities include physical and vocal warm-ups, drama games, rehearsals, and crafts. The final performance will be at 11:30 a.m. on the last day of camp.

THEATRICAL DESIGN CAMP | GRADES 6–8

Explore theatre through the elements of design. In Theatrical Design Camp, young artists will work with experienced theatre artists to learn about scenic, costume, props and lighting design. Campers will brainstorm and share ideas, participate in hands-on design exercises, and finalize their own designs around the week’s camp theme. This is a unique opportunity for young artists to discover creative fields that support performance. Camps will culminate in design presentations for very important producers (a.k.a., friends and family) on the final day of each session.

Daily activities include imaginative warm-ups, creative drama games, design projects and crafts. 

GRADES 6–8 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 1–4:30 P.M.

Students present their design projects to family and friends at 3:30 p.m. on the last day of camp.

July 6–10, 2026

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP | GRADES 3-5

TAKE THE STAGE! INTRO TO ACTING AND MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP | GRADES 6–12

Whether you’re brand new to theatre or already have performance experience, we invite you to take the stage at our Intro to Acting and Musical Theatre Camp! Campers will learn how to prepare and perform an audition-ready monologue and work collaboratively with their peers in short scene work. They’ll also build musical theatre skills by combining singing, movement, and acting in a musical number. Family and friends are invited to join us on the final day for a performance showcasing everything the campers have learned! 

GRADES 6–12 | MONDAY-FRIDAY  | 1 p.m.–4:30 p.m.

The final performance will be at 3:30 p.m. on the last day of camp.

PERFORMING ARTS CAMP GRADES K–2

Explore the wonder of theatre and express your creative side at Performing Arts Camp. Campers will experience the excitement of acting and connect with other young creatives as they work together in an ensemble to create a final performance inspired by Hope Repertory Theatre’s children’s show.

Daily activities include physical and vocal warm-ups, drama games, rehearsals and crafts.

Explore the wonder of theatre and learn to express your creative side in Playwriting Camp. Participants will experience the excitement of dramatic writing and connect with other young creatives as they work together in an ensemble. Campers will work to write their own 10-minute play!

GRADES 6–12 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 1 p.m.–4:30 p.m.

The final performance will be a reading of the plays at 3:30 p.m. for family and friends on the last day of camp.

BROADWAY BOOTCAMP: Presents “Hope Repertory Education Program: Young Artist Showcaseâ€

GRADES 6–12 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | FULL DAY 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Act, sing, dance! Develop your triple-threat skills as you work with Hope Rep teaching artists. Participants will work as an ensemble, rehearse and perform a musical theatre showcase! Campers will audition for solos, group numbers, dance performances and more. All centered around this year’s theme: From Stage to Screen, and Back Again: A Celebration of Musical Theatre. Campers will also have the opportunity to attend workshops with professional performers. 

Daily activities include physical and vocal warm-ups, acting exercises and rehearsals of movement and music. 

GRADES 6-12 | MONDAY–FRIDAY | 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

The final performance will be at 3:30 p.m. for family and friends on the last day of camp. Lunch is not provided.
