As part of Hope College’s celebrations marking the 1,700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed, the Hope College Orchestra will present a special Hymn-Sing concert on Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts, Concert Hall. The public is invited. Admission is free.

The evening will open with Modest Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” followed by a medley of well-known hymns reflecting the confessions of the Nicene Creed. Highlights include “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and “Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!”, among others. Two vocal performance majors, Kate Nelson (‘26), soprano, and Jackson Hagood (‘26), tenor, will lead the hymn-sing portion of the concert.
